Been a bit busy lately.

Wow, it's been a while. When I wrote that last post I was commuting 130 miles each way to work. Somehow I just didn't have a lot of energy for keeping up a blog. At the same time my wife Susan's health started taking a turn for the worse. It continued to worsen up until that magic day in the fall of 2009 when we got a diagnosis of breast cancer. She had 3 surgeries and 6 months of chemo and radiation treatments and is only now recovering from the cancer treatments. All of her scans and tests have come up clean for the last year, so we're holding on and hoping.

Not sure if I'll keep the blog going, but since I haven't any readers it's not a major issue.
